Welcome to Business Systems Management and General Education! We have lots of things going on in Business Systems Management in 2021 and we’d like to keep you updated on what’s new and what’s changing!
Business System Management in 2021
Some of our courses are going through some revisions, such as our English 100, 200, and 305 classes to guide students through a powerful path of writing success. We have also started teaching CSC 100 as the first class a student takes to refresh everyone’s skills in the electronic and learning environment.
SoCal Innovation Station
One of the most exciting things Laurus College and the Career Services department have happening now is our new partnership with the So Cal Innovation Station (SCIS)!
The SCIS is an amazing resource available to all of our students. It is a resource built to help aspiring entrepreneurs gather the resources to start a business, or just ask questions about starting a business so there is a clear path for success.
Some of the features of the SCIS are the consulting services. While all of our operations are still virtual, we have shown that we excel at providing online services! There is also a resources segment to SCIS which is designed to show different documents and governmental departments with whom you can connect to help you along the planning phase of opening a business.
While it may seem like a fairly straightforward process, opening a business can take a bit of time, quite a bit of planning, and some monetary resources. The SCIS is here for you, to make the process more accessible.

Entrepreneur’s Club

In addition to SCIS and the wonderful members of our Career Services Department, we have an Entrepreneurs Club! The Entrepreneurs club is open to all Laurus students, in all departments! We will be having a meeting in April 2021.
