Kent Silveira is a creative technologist and storyteller with a passion for building tools that empower people. At Apple, he spent over a decade developing systems that supported global teams—from supply chain platforms to early diagnostics for Apple Watch—always seeking elegant, human-centered solutions.

Beyond technology, Kent has co-directed an award-winning animated short, published the graphic novel My Summer with the Hawaiian Fire Goddess, and helped shape California’s media arts education standards. Kent sees technology not just as infrastructure, but as a canvas—capable of telling stories, solving problems, and inspiring connection.

At Laurus College, Kent is excited to support students as they explore that same blend of creativity and craft—encouraging them to see code as art, design as narrative, and their own voices as the most powerful tool of all.
