Annual Report
As required by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, Laurus College’s Annual Report is published here.
School Performance Fact Sheets
As required by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), a School Performance Fact Sheet is published for every program. You will receive and sign the fact sheet for your program before you enroll. Each program’s fact sheet is linked below and from its own program page.
A fact sheet reports completion rates, placement rates, and — where applicable — license examination passage rates and salary or wage data, for the cohort years that report covers. Two things are worth knowing when you read one:
- The tuition shown on a fact sheet is the tuition that applied to the cohort it reports on — it is historical, not current pricing. For current tuition and fees, see the program pages.
- Program learning outcomes are not part of a fact sheet. Those are published on each program page and in the College Catalog.
Some fact sheets are filed under a program’s former name — for example, the B.S. in Audio Video Production’s fact sheet is titled “BS Audio Production.” Those are the correct documents for the current programs.

Net price & cost of attendance
Program tuition and fees are listed on each program page and in the College Catalog. Every prospective student is offered an individual financial planning session to estimate net price after any grants and aid they qualify for. Financial aid is available to those who qualify; eligibility is determined individually and no form of aid is guaranteed. For federal aid eligibility and tools, visit studentaid.gov. See Financial Aid for details.
Records, Registrar & transcripts
The Office of the Registrar maintains official student records and handles enrollment verification, official transcript requests, and other records matters. Financial aid inquiries are handled by the Financial Aid Office.
Order an official transcript
Official Laurus College transcripts are ordered through Parchment, our transcript service partner.

Student complaint procedures
Laurus College is committed to providing a fair, timely, and respectful grievance resolution process for students experiencing concerns related to their academic experience, enrollment, services, or interactions with faculty and staff.
Informal resolution: open door policy
Laurus College faculty and staff are committed to resolving most issues within 72 hours whenever possible. Depending on the nature of the issue, students may contact:
- Their instructor for academic or grading matters
- The Department of Student Success & Advising at studentservices@lauruscollege.edu or (805) 267-1690
- Their Program Director or Department Lead for department-specific concerns
If the issue pertains to academic matters (e.g., grades, course delivery), students should also review any applicable academic policies in the College Catalog or the Student Handbook. This approach allows the College to provide timely, personalized support without requiring a formal escalation.
Formal grievance process
If the concern cannot be resolved informally, students have the right to submit a formal grievance within ten (10) working days of the informal resolution attempt. The formal grievance process includes the following steps:
Step 1: Submit the Grievance Form. Students must complete a Grievance Form, available through the Student Portal or upon request from the Department of Student Success & Advising. The completed form must include:
- A clear description of the concern
- The date of the incident and any informal resolution attempts
- Supporting documentation, if applicable
- The student’s full name and Student ID number
The completed form should be submitted via the Student Portal or emailed to studentservices@lauruscollege.edu. Students will receive written confirmation of receipt within five (5) business days.
Step 2: Appeals Committee Review. The Appeals Committee, composed of academic and administrative leaders unaffiliated with the concern, will review the grievance and all related materials. The committee will meet in closed session and issue a resolution decision within 30 calendar days of receipt. The student will receive the outcome via their institutional email within 10 business days of the committee meeting.
Step 3: Appeal to the President. If the student is not satisfied with the Appeals Committee’s decision, they may submit a written appeal to the President within 30 calendar days of receiving the decision. The President, in consultation with the Executive Team, will review the full case and provide a final written response within 30 calendar days of receipt.
External oversight
If the issue remains unresolved after following institutional grievance procedures, students may contact the relevant accrediting or regulatory bodies. Laurus College recommends, but does not mandate, that the internal grievance resolution process be followed before escalating to external bodies. Students should include their student identification number in all formal correspondence to facilitate efficient processing of their grievance. This grievance policy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and timely resolution of concerns within 90 days.

Residents of Nevada — students enrolled in licensed, private postsecondary educational institutions have the right to register a legitimate complaint with the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education. Prior to filing a complaint, students must attempt to resolve the issue with school officials according to the policies of the school they are attending. If a resolution cannot be reached, students may contact the Commission, which will attempt to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, students will be required to complete a formal complaint form. Formal complaints are investigated by staff, and a decision is made by the administrator of the Commission. If either party does not agree with that decision, an appeal to the full Commission may be requested.
