Federal student aid

Laurus College is approved to disburse federal student aid to students enrolled in eligible programs who qualify, including Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, Federal Parent PLUS Loans, and Federal Work-Study.

To be eligible, you generally must demonstrate financial need (for need-based aid), be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen with a valid Social Security number, hold a high school diploma or GED, be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program, and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) — California students

The State of California established the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) to relieve or mitigate economic loss suffered by a student in an educational program at a qualifying institution who is or was a California resident, or was enrolled in a residency program, if the student enrolled in the institution, prepaid tuition, and suffered an economic loss. You may be eligible for STRF if you are a California resident or enrolled in a residency program, prepaid tuition, and meet other conditions.
